My passion for breastfeeding support and education began when I was breastfeeding my own baby. I had the privilege of working with several skilled lactation providers as well as having a partner and community that understood the importance of supporting my desire to breastfeed.
In my own breastfeeding journey, I realized that many of my friends had not met their breastfeeding goals because they were not offered good support or education. Their concerns were dismissed, and they were made to feel that their bodies must somehow be deficient.
I wanted to be the knowledgeable help that my friends deserved. Thus began my journey of breastfeeding education. I have completed hundreds of hours of formal education, informally read dozens of research and journal articles, and helped families in my community reach their breastfeeding goals.
Iām excited to work with you and offer you compassionate and holistic breastfeeding support.
